Play your part in our team succeeding
The System and Material Governance team is based in the LEGO Design organization with close collaboration with the supply chain. The team is responsible for the overall LEGO building system (LEGO, DUPLO and Technic), where the task is to lead and develop on the compatibility and complexities of all LEGO bricks to enable the best consumer system-in-play experience.
You will play a key role in connecting the dots from initiatives running in the sustainable material program into the governance and development area, adapt and react on tendencies and initiate new improvements or projects. E.g by introducing new design methods, materials or capabilities.
Core Responsibilities
You will be working closely together with the sustainable materials program and the LEGO Design organization. You will set the direction and spot opportunities for sustainable transformation. Responsibilities include:
Manage information across functional areas, documenting results and consolidating recommendations.
Ensuring the LEGO building system and play experience are developed in relation to new sustainable solutions.
Drive our team of creatives and be a curious part of setting motivation and focus within the Design teams.
Drive partner management across the organization, leading changes when implementing new sustainable materials.
Estimate resources usage for new sustainable projects or tasks in the development area – LEGO Design organization.
Manage, develop and implement processes relating to the development and maintenance of the total LEGO bricks portfolio.
Do you have what it takes?
You hold a bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent experience. Moreover, you hold:
3-5 years experience as project manager related to development or materials projects.
Excellent partner management interpersonal skills
Structured, analytical, proactive and can-do attitude
Strong teamwork skills
Knowledge about the LEGO building System is an advantage
