Job Title: Mechanical Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team. The primary responsibilities include the disassembly of incoming cylinders from mining equipment, performing inspections on all disassembled parts to identify necessary repairs, and rebuilding cylinders using various hand, power, and pneumatic tools. The role also involves daily use of basic blueprints and schematics, testing and troubleshooting finished products to ensure proper functionality, and data entry of all daily activities into the company database. This position requires the ability to lift up to 70 lbs at times.
Responsibilities
Disassemble incoming cylinders from mining equipment.
Perform inspections on all disassembled parts to identify necessary repairs.
Rebuild cylinders using various hand, power, and pneumatic tools.
Utilize basic blueprints and schematics daily.
Test and troubleshoot finished products to ensure they operate correctly.
Enter data of all daily activities into the company database.
Lift up to 70 lbs as needed.

Ability to read schematics
Additional Skills & Qualifications
2 years of mechanical work or mechanical assembly experience involving testing and troubleshooting.
3 months of experience with hydraulic testing and troubleshooting.
Must be able to bring own mechanic tools.
