Job Title: Forklift Yard Worker

Job Description

Operate a variety of sit-down forklifts through the yard. Receive new steel for welders and prepare it for the welding department. Set up pallets in the yard for the intake area. Take finished products and palletize them for outgoing shipments in the yard. Assist in inventory counts. Candidates will need to lift up to 70 lbs as they will be moving some steel and wood by hand. Lay out all finished products in the paint area by hand, forklift, or hoist. Help out in any areas that require assistance after completing all duties.

Essential Skills

Work Environment

You will work in the production area when in the paint area, with bay doors frequently opening and closing to the outside. Most of the time, you will be working outside, so it is important to dress according to the elements. All candidates must wear steel-toed boots, pants, and it is recommended to wear a long sleeve shirt.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
