Our client north of Boston is looking to add a Senior CNC Programmer to their amazing team! We are looking for a seasoned veteran with a passion for CNC Programming. You will work with cross-functional teams to create CNC programs and machining strategies. This person will need to have at least 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with Mazak machines and programming CNC machines. responsibilities:

• Create machining strategies to transform designs into machined components.

• Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining processes, including milling, turning, and multi-axis machining centers.

• Collaborate with the engineering team to choose suitable tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters for efficient and precise part production.

• Support machinists in setting up and troubleshooting CNC machines, ensuring programs run correctly and resolving any issues during the machining process.

• Formulate manufacturing plans for high-volume production.

• Design custom tools and fixtures as required.

• Create setup sheets that align the CNC program's geometry with the physical workpiece.

• Identify, select, and procure the right tooling for specific applications, considering part material, geometry, features, tolerances, system rigidity, and equipment capabilities.

• Release validated programs to the production team.

• Lead process improvement initiatives to reduce machining/setup time and enhance part quality.

• Maintain configuration control of files and job records.
