Summary of Position:
The Academic Advisor, Assistant Ranking will provide academic advising in Retention and Student Success (but, not limited to) that will include assisting students in the development of academic plans and course schedules, advising on academic program changes and meeting with prospective students and their families. Other duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with summer orientation and registration, responding to inquiries regarding programs, maintaining timely communication with students, and teaching a freshman seminar course (or another course as appropriate) up to three credit hours per semester/six credit hours per academic year. The anticipated start date of this position is December 2024. However, this is an estimated date and can be revised if needed.
