We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Expert with combination of:

  • Subject Metter Expert and Service Architect roles

  • Real technical experience (responsible for technical decisions),

  • Delivery Management / Transition Management skills,

  • Project Management skills

We make real what matters. This is your role:

  • Analyze the business requirements and processes to support the design and development of infrastructure services.

  • Prepare and contribute to architectural quality reviews and to definition of service strategy and architecture.

  • Together with team, implement and optimize our Data Center services and needed ITIL processes globally.

  • Ensure data and information security in the Data Center services, timely provision of Status Reports, Rollout Plan, Risks, etc.

  • Consider dependencies to other global and regional projects.

  • Supports Service Owner and other stakeholder regarding tasks and approvals according to the needs of the project.

  • Identifies and tracks issues identified in cooperation with other work streams.

  • Manage relationship with the client, external providers and stakeholders, establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.

  • Clear understanding of Information Technology and IT processes.

  • Continuously share best practices and approaches across teams.

  • End-to-end responsible for the delivery of platform service in responsible area

  • Work with virtual team spread worldwide (very limited need to travel) and share best practices and approaches across teams.

Your success is grounded in:

  • At least 10 years of proven working experience in IT.

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the IT sector, with focus on IT infrastructure.

  • +3 years of experience in Cloud environments and Cloud operations (Azure and/or AWS) with at least entry level certification in Azure/AWS and a solid cloud understanding

  • Good knowledge of network architecture and configuration (VPCs, subnets, IP ranges, Security Groups, etc.)

  • Good knowledge of the best practices of implementing cloud infrastructures, know the Well-Architected Framework and its principles.

  • Ability to translate business demand and requirements into technical solutions as well as communicate with customer in a both technical- and non-technical manner.

  • Fluent in English with a strong experience in international team settings – German will be a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/computer engineering or other related to IT

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer management skills with advanced problem-solving skills.

  • Proactive attitude committed to the service.

  • Nice to have: coding experience, certifications (e.g. PMP, ITIL, Agile), knowledge of Linux and Windows Sysadmin,

Tech stack:

  • Azure Lighthouse, B2B, DNS, Storage, Functions, VMs, Logs, etc.

  • AWS Route 53, S3, Lambda, EC2, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Systems Manager, etc.

  • Security, IAM, Automation

  • Terraform and Ansible

  • DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
