Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Technician for our Aluminum Manufacturing client on their plant in Davenport Iowa. As an Electrical Technician, youll attend daily management meetings, troubleshoot equipment outages, find probable solutions to re-establish flow, assess downtime issues, and perform root cause analysis to prevent future incidents. You will be responsible for project documentation and reporting, preventative maintenance, outages, etc. Additionally, a primary goal is troubleshooting equipment issues to limit downtime and to perform preventative maintenance while improvising if original machine parts are not available onsite.

Skills and Requirements

· Highschool diploma

· 3-5 years of experience at a large industrial scale environment

Ability to read electrical drawings, troubleshoot to root cause and implement repairs to restore flow of equipment · Electrical Engineer degree

· Electrical experience with a knowledge of non-destructive testing systems

Experience with Servo Systems, stepper drives, PLC programming and troubleshooting, AC & DC motors, and variable speed drives null
