The Manager, Field Logistics provides direct oversight and support to a team of Logistics & Replenishment technicians across multiple warehouse locations in the greater New York area. Warehouse locations support multiple stakeholders, including Optimum Field Technicians, Repair and Maintenance Technicians, Installation and Contractor workforces. Field Logistics managers will travel to locations on a regular basis to assist in fulfillment operations, planning, and administrative duties as required.
- This position will require leading and training other employees in various tasks as deemed necessary by the supervisor
- Partnering with Stakeholders across business to support Field Operations Installation, Engineering, Construction team members
- Responsible for producing and maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports, as required to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment
- Field Logistics Managers will be required to develop inventory replenishment plans that ensure locations stay adequately stocked with necessary items
- Managers may be required to place orders for inventory on behalf of a location, and/or process inventory transfers between locations to better balance inventory
- Responsible for performing physical tasks and leading other employees in accomplishing the following tasks associated with the distributing and receiving of materials within the remote replenishment area, including but not limited to the loading or unloading, storing and issuing of materials and consumer devices to technicians, and validating
- Field Logistics Managers serve as the primary contact for escalations related to materials orders, inventory levels, and fulfillment activities
- Responsible for monitoring inventory/standard issue levels and the transfer of material between sites or initiating requests for additional material
- Ensure accurate material transaction/tracking processing including material issues, reverse logistics, and inter-organizational transfers
- Identify and resolve all discrepancies in material transactions
- Leverages continuous improvement methods to enhance labor productivity and process accuracy while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Performs managerial functions, such as, mentoring, coaching, training, administering performance reviews, conducting disciplinary actions, approving timesheets, and interviewing employment candidates
- Ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations
- 5+ years of general warehouse management oversight
- Experience with direct management of hourly employee workforce
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
- Maintain a valid Driver License
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Standing for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to comply with all Company implemented safety procedures
- Ability to use any equipment in a safe manner as it pertains to job
- Skill in using small hand tools
- Ability to operate a vehicle and forklift in a safe and responsible manner
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $102,816.00-$168,912.00/year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
