Arora and Associates, P.C. SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
Overview
Arora and Associates, P.C. is seeking an individual that is team-focused and motivated to serve as a Senior Project Manager to assist in expanding our Transportation Practice in PA. This position is a full-time, on-site opportunity. The Senior Project Manager will utilize leadership and engineering skills to lead project teams to deliver projects for agencies such as PennDOT, the PTC, DRJTBC and DRPA as well as other regional clients.
Responsibilities
• Lead single or multidiscipline teams in developing solutions for transportation design projects. • Produce and coordinate several small to medium projects concurrently. • Coordinate subconsultants • Provide technical expertise by formulating and developing design concepts, techniques, and standards. • Mentor junior staff in their professional development. • Maintain project schedules and budgets. • Assuring effective utilization of engineering personnel and technical quality. • Ensure compliance with company's QA/QC plan • Visit project sites to troubleshoot construction issues • Communicate and coordinate with clients' representatives • Prepare technical and cost proposals • Assist with business development in the civil/traffic/transportation engineering space • Perform other duties as needed. Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. • 15+ years of roadway design experience. • 10+ years of project management experience. • Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in PA. • Proficient technical skills in design of highway, intersection and signal improvement design plans. • Demonstrated leadership skills. • Previous knowledge/experience with PennDOT, PTC and regional agencies design regulations and permit requirements. • Strong presentation and written communication skills
