Overview:

Salary: $120k-$135k

Provides electrical engineering research and design for new and existing product line to ensure functionality, quality, cost, and schedule by performing the following duties.

Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to the following:

• ExperienceinPowerelectronicsandUPStopology

Provide electrical designs for new and existing product lines. Proficient Knowledge in:

• DC/DC, AC/DC, and DC/AC conversion design and analysis

• PCB design (Altium)

• Analog and Digital Circuit Designs

• LTSpice

• Thermal Design and analysis (FLOW simulation)

• EndtoendevaluationandtestingofMicrocontrollerbasedcontrolleranditssoftwarewithUPS Inverter hardware.

• ExperiencewithPICcontrollerisaplus.

• UnderstandingofUL924isaplus.

• Familiarwiththelabenvironmenttoconductsystemleveltesting.

• Mustbeflexible,proactive,andinnovative.

• Mustenjoyworkingwithnewtechnologyinafast-spacedenvironment.

• Test electronics units and software, using standard test equipment, and analyze results to evaluate performance and determine need for adjustment.

• Maintainsystemlogsormanualstodocumenttestingoroperationofequipment.

• Adjustor replace defective or improperly functioning circuitry or electronics components, using hand tools or soldering iron.

• Maintainworkingknowledgeofstate-of-the-arttools.

• Provide engineering support or recommendations for new or existing equipment with regard to installation, upgrades, or enhancements.

• Recorddataontestingtechniques,laboratoryequipment,orspecifications.

• Providecustomersupportandeducation,workingwithusers to identify needs, determine sources of problems, or to provide information on product use.

• Documenttechnicaldesigndetails.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with coursework in Electrical engineering, Power Electronics, Use of PCB layout tool Altium, physics, mathematics, and statistics.

• 3-5 years of experience working in the power electronics (more specific to UPS and emergency back-up) industry

Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year
