Description
The part-time planning associate's responsibilities include scenario planning, risk management, order management, execution of replenishment activities, and developing inventory strategies for 8-10 hours weekly.
Requirements
Principle Duties/Responsibilities Job Creation and Maintenance
- Executes job creation deliverables in various systems.
- Allocates materials to jobs based on allowable number of material lots within each job.
- Compiles job packets. Confirms that all documents are approved and consistent.
- Promptly communicates, addresses, and resolves any system data or documentation issues.
Scheduling and Fulfillment
- Identifies and communicates priorities proactively. Works with departments to communicate urgency.
- Actively tracks status of priorities and works with departments to adjust schedules and expedite orders.
- Generates pick lists for customer shipments based on inventory levels and customer parameters.
Reporting - Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Planning tools
- Utilizes Excel to compile various reports that support planning processes.
- Distributes status and performance reports in a regular and timely manner.
Quality Processes
- Completes tasks assigned as an output of quality processes such as change control, deviations, return material authorization (RMA), and nonconformance (NC) processes.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities· Familiarity with SharePoint and Microsoft Excel (Beginner)· Proficient in typing and writing· Able to comply with Good Documentation Practices Competencies/Candidate Profile· Must be detail oriented.· Excellent organization and time management skills.· Must demonstrate a high sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
