Guardian Life Head of IT Service Management in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

You Will:

  • Lead the delivery of technology services and service delivery managers to ensure they meet the needs of the organization.

  • Develop the strategy for Technology Asset Management across the Enterprise. This would include managing the accuracy and integrity the CMDB (Configuration Management Database) for all technology assets

  • Oversee the communication between technology and other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services.

  • Develop and implement service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure technology services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

  • Work with technology service providers to ensure service levels are met and problems are resolved quickly.

  • Provide the strategic direction for the quality of technology services provided and manage the resolution of any issues that arise.

  • Develop and manage budgets for technology service delivery, and ensure resources are allocated effectively.

  • Constantly monitor and report on service delivery performance to identify areas for improvement.

  • Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure consistent and streamlined technology service delivery.

  • Encourage the adoption of emerging technologies to continually improve technology service delivery.

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to technology service delivery staff.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Head of IT Service Management or similar role and leading a team of service delivery managers

  • Solid understanding of service delivery processes and procedures

  • Experience with Service-Now platform (ITAM and ITAM experience a plus)

  • Excellent leadership and customer management skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to manage and lead teams

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Information Technology or relevant field

  • Excellent oral and verbal communication skills.

  • Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information.

  • Able to produce reports and complete work within deadlines.

  • Able to work well with interdepartmental teams and initiatives.

Location & Travel:

  • The position will need to be based in either: Holmdel, NJ, New York, NY (Hudson Yards), Boston, MA, Stamford, CT, or Bethlehem, PA

  • The position will be hybrid with 2+ days in the office

  • Will require travel as needed

Salary Range

$171,330.00 - $281,467.50

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
