Two critical equipment manufacturing lines that support our core industrial gas business as well as that of third party customers are Gardner Cryogenics and Rotoflow.

Gardner Cryogenics is a world leader in designing and manufacturing of high-performance, highly reliable, long-lasting storage tanks used to transport hydrogen and helium molecules to all 7 continents. Rotoflow offers full-service turbomachinery OEM offerings and provides a wide range of new equipment solutions and aftermarket services across the globe.

We are seeking an Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality (EHSQ) Manager to support both Gardner and Rotoflowat our Bethlehem, PA facilities.

In this role, you will manage the safety, quality, and training team and support the 450-500 individuals across ten facilities globally, with a focus on exceeding safety targets. Gardner and Rotoflow are poised for geographic and market expansion. Therefore, our EHSQ programs must be robust for a growth environment and new employee hiring.

Strong change management and influencing skill sets are desired to build a world-class and long-term, sustainable, safety-and-change-agile culture at all levels of the organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead the strategic oversight for EHSQ management systems teams for the global manufacturing business. Direct the Quality Management Systems team, including setting targets, measurement goals and direction for ISO certification across the business. Manage learning and the learning/training team for the organization. Model Air Products safety philosophy that all accidents are preventable. Demonstrate personal safety leadership, provide safety mentoring at multiple levels of the organization, and routinely apply behavioral-based coaching. Advance a proactive safety culture across multiple global sites. Deliver the expedient and clear communication of incidents to the Director, Operations Managers and ensure coordination with central safety on their disposition. Provide comprehensive incident management, including root cause identification and execution of necessary improvement efforts. Leverage regular reviews of safety data for goal setting and prioritization of improvement projects within the organization. Own, manage and maintain local safety work processes, standards, and procedures; while ensuring adherence and alignment with Global Air Products Policies. Conduct benchmarks and collaborate with regional, peer, and industrial safety programs and resources. Build healthy and productive relationships with central safety teams within Air Products. Support site managers to ensure adequate safety training programs and compliance within Gardner and Rotoflow. Assist sales team in supporting EHS policy, procedure, and safety package for bids. Assist in the integration of newly acquired locations or startups. Support of the implementation of regulatory standards and requirements (OSHA/ISO9001/ISO14001) and assist in HAZOP and safety requirements with new business developments. Direct management of 5-6 safety and quality professionals including goal setting, development and coaching. Requirements and qualifications Ability to provide personal leadership in delivering World Class Safety. A minimum of bachelor's degree in a technical field. Demonstrated experience drivi g measurable improvements in safety results. Demonstrated experience in leveraging leading indicators to prevent injury and incidents. Must possess a high degree of integrity, interpersonal, and influence skills. Experience leading and influencing safety in the manufacturing environment, with 10+ years in Industrial Safety. Experience and understanding of document management systems and management of change systems. Understanding of ISO 9001 and 14001. CSP desired but not required. Passion and commitment to employee involvement, team building, diversity, and inclusion. Strong communication and influencing skills.
