Summary The Department of Clinical Research Informatics (DCRI) is actively seeking candidates who are looking to embark on an exciting career opportunity. As an IT Specialist (SysAdmin), you will use your skills and insights to plan and manage large information technology projects and assist implementing complex clinical information systems in support of innovative Clinical Care and Biomedical Research. The duties include but are not limited the following bullets below: Designing, implementing, and maintaining a large scale IT Infrastructure that consists of over 5000 nodes and networking devices. Providing network services for the Clinical Research Information System (CRIS), and Altera Sunrise Clinical Management System (SCM) client-server environments. Researching, testing, and evaluating network requirements for projects and supporting Clinical Center healthcare initiatives. Deploying network security technologies to enhance information systems security. troubleshooting networking issues that impact client-server environments. coordinating with vendors and internal and external Department of Clinical Research Informatics customers to resolve network problems. Planning and implementing IT infrastructure upgrades, security upgrades, and policy changes. Responding to Clinical Center Customer Requests for changes affecting CC/DCRI network infrastructure.
