Philips Senior Service Process Quality Engineer in Best, Netherlands
In this role, you are responsible for overseeing our strategic deals and monitoring the status of their quality assessments. You lead and support strategic operational initiatives within Philips One Region Quality organization. Your are responsible to support commercial launches of new products, services and solutions and to reinforce the sales organization in the assessment of strategic deals. You will drive continuous improvement efforts, lead CAPAs, and take on larger scale escalations that can cross multiple functions to bring to a timely, compliant, and enabling outcome.
Your role:
As a Senior Service Process Quality Engineer, you are responsible for:
Driving first-time-right commercial launch of new products, services and solutions
Ensuring new product development and solutions incorporate feasible serviceability requirements
Completing quality assessments of strategic offers to customers using standard tools and following standard processes
Leading/supporting key operational initiatives
Establishing and maintaining daily management of key quality indicators
Providing resolution of ad-hoc escalations ensuring compliance to Philips Quality Management System and Regulatory Agencies is maintained
Managing the implementation of continuous improvement activities in areas that will increase performance, improve alignment to Philips Behaviors and Strategy, and maintain visibility to organizational Goals and Objectives
Providing technical support in Market issues, 3rd party product introduction, and development of solutions
Leading CAPA investigations with process owners and meeting timeliness requirements
Creating and managing Quality Plans through its lifecycle as part of driving resolution to escalations, and other initiatives as appropriate
You're the right fit if:
You have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5+ years of experience in medical devices industry or highly regulated industry like pharma or automotive
Proven experience in quality engineering or regulatory affairs, with a strong understanding of compliance standards, quality systems, and regulatory requirements to ensure product and process excellence
You have strong project management skills with a proven track record of successfully leading global projects. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, such as creating and managing Gantt Charts, applying Six Sigma principles like DMAIC and utilizing other structured approaches to drive project efficiency and success
You are experienced in driving continuous improvement using tools like PRIDE, Six Sigma, or Lean methodologies (Green/Black Belt certification preferred)
You are a go-getter: you take initiative, demonstrate a drive to achieve goals, overcome obstacles and you confidently engage with others thriving in a complex matrixed environment
