Philips Internship: Process Mining IGT-Devices in Best, Netherlands

Start date: Q3 2024

Duration: 5-6 months

Type: Non-Thesis

Weekly presence: 40 hours per week

You will have an opportunity to learn, play a key part in, and drive supply chain analytics and process mining initiative to structurally improve our End-to-End flows and performance. Working closely with data and process specialists and various stakeholders to gain actionable insights and stimulate knowledge sharing and lessons learned.

Your role:

  • Process Mapping and Visualization: Create visual representations of the contracting and quoting processes, including data flows and decision points.

  • Data Integration and Connectivity: Establish connections between the IT-tools to support these processes, ensuring a unified view of customer interactions and equipment offering processes.

  • Process Mining Analysis: Apply process mining techniques to analyze the process flow, identify deviations, and measure key performance indicators.

  • Recommendations and Conclusion: Propose recommendations for process optimization by identifying and elimination of waste and reducing cycle time of the entire E2E process. This may include automation opportunities and improved data connectivity between IT-tools, based on the findings from the analysis.

  • Share your knowledge and insights to educate the organization, ensuring professional communication and timely updates.

You're the right fit if:

  • Studying towards your Bachelor or Master University degree study in: Business Administration, Business Management, Industrial Engineering.

  • Good knowledge of English language both verbally and written

  • Self-starter, not afraid to look for information and reach out to new people.

  • Analytical thinker, with a detail and process-oriented mindset

  • Ability to digest and organize large amounts of data.

  • Ideally experience with power point and excel skills and knowledge in data analytics/management and process mining.

IMPORTANT :

Part of our selection procedure is a HireVue Assessment. We are not able to correspond the outcome of this HireVue Assessment but will use this as an extra selection criterion.

Our intern remuneration package:

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you perform a part-time internship, you will receive an allowance pro-rata.

  • Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the landlord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.

  • Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net

  • Paid holidays per internship term.

  • The opportunity to buy Philips products at our Philips shop
