Description:

Supports delivery of security, safety and parking services on campus by supervising the day to day operations of a designated shift of Security & Safety Officers in the field.

  • Promotes the security goals of crime and loss prevention through interactions with other departments, and the supervision and activities of staff.

  • Promotes the Magis goals of customer service (care, concern, respect, cooperation) through interactions with other departments and supervision of staff.

  • Handles the day-to-day Human Resource responsibilities of shift.

  • Provides and participates in training of officers and other employees.

  • Develops staffing schedules.

  • Assists the Safety Department in the accomplishment of safety goals and the enforcement of safety rules and regulations.

  • Assists the Parking Department in the accomplishment of parking goals through enforcement of rules and regulations, motorist assist services and traffic control.
