An immediate opening is available for the position of Accountant I based out of our office located at 111 W. Front St., Berwick.
The successful candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field and have the desire to excel in a dynamic and customer-driven environment. We are seeking a self-motivated candidate who should have a minimum of one year accounting experience preferably with a bank or finance related institution. Position requires a strong knowledge and application of GAAP; intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office products and overall computer skills; various accounting systems; proficiency in analyzing and interpreting financial statements; a proven history of teamwork; excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with all internal and external contacts; and organizational and time management skills to meet multiple concurrent deadlines.
