Team/Function Overview
The Financial Reporting Team exists within the Funds Administration Operations at Citibank Europe plc, Luxembourg Branch. The Team is responsible for the production of financial statements, regulatory reporting, bespoke client reporting and tax returns. Citi’s clients cover a range of funds including but not limited to UCITS, UCIs, SIFs and RAIFs. The Financial Reporting Team is a highly specialized team that has detailed Lux GAAP and IFRS knowledge.
Role / Position Overview
The Financial Reporting Senior Analyst is responsible for the preparation and review of financial statements, regulatory reporting, bespoke client reporting and Tax returns. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of required reporting to Citi's clients, Regulatory bodies and Tax Administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation and review of annual and interim financial statements in accordance with applicable legislation and client service level agreements
Preparation and review of client and regulatory reporting
Ensure timeliness of deliverables in accordance with deadlines
Ensure high quality work
Investigation and resolution of client queries in a timely manner
Complete maintenance tasks on Confluence
Develop strong, pro-active working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
Working closely with other relevant operational peers and across the organization to ensure that process risks are minimized
Involvement in key automation projects and continuous process improvements
Qualifications:
3+ years of relevant experience in Fund accounting
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Chartered Accountant /CFA as an advantage
English language - fluent
Experience in accounting, finance, or business-related area
Experience in fund administration, change management, and/or project management
Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in related area
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
