At Carrier we are currently looking for Drafter to participate in the Carrier activities & make contributions, applying their skills / knowledge.

Role Responsibilities:

• General design & drafting responsibilities based on layouts /sketches & drawings with CAD applications.

• Ensuring all engineering changes workflows are followed.

• Participating in Carrier Excellence activities, incl. standard work, Kaizen & Value Stream Mapping.

• Work with guidance on projects with short-term focus.

Role Purpose:

• Creation of designs & documentation for Transport Refrigeration Products.

Minimum Requirements:

• Refrigeration, mechanical or electrical background, incl. hands-on experience working in an engineering design environment.

• Ability to develop continuous improvement projects.

• Capacity to communicate professionally in written and verbal form across a wide audience.

• Ability to drive change.

• General knowledge of Bills of Materials and structure

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while managing multiple priorities.

• Skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams).

• Follow-up and follow-through skills.

• Knowledge of PTC’s Creo and Windchill applications

• Experienced in Creo schematics and harness routing, harness drawing creation using harness smart tables. Ability to import hml flies into Creo schematic.

• Experienced with Creo tubing modeling pkg and drawing creation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Entry level Programming experience

• Working level Electrical experience

• English and or french language for communication with engineers in other European sites

Minimum Requirements:

• Technical/Business School Certificate, high school diploma, skilled trades apprenticeship, or GED

• 1+ year(s) of HVAC experience
