About the role

  • Our Technical Marketing team, composed of 3 people, is integrated into the Derivatives department and focuses on providing technical support in collaboration with the commercial team and the production sites.

  • As a Technical Marketing Specialist , you will work on both Bicar and Soda Ash businesses to manage and develop technical aspects of customers' project portfolios in line with market & Soda Ash and Derivatives Global Business Unit objectives and to create documentation. You will be able to provide technical service to customers of Central & Eastern Europe + Nordic countries + Export and positively impact the Bernburg, Rheinberg, Devnya and Dombasle sites.

  • You will be accountable for:

  • Support technical implementation of regional commercial plans and ensure exchange and distribution of technical information and expertise with teams

  • Participate in the elaboration of the Market Strategic Plan along the technical dimension

  • Steer and develop communication with sales teams

  • Visit prospects and customers, propose technical solutions and understand the background and landscape for technical aspects. Manage NDA technical part with customers and specifications with key accounts

  • Make decisions regarding customer claims and complaints

  • We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid working mode. Availability to travel ​from 20 to 40 % of the time which may include international travel.

About you

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technical / Scientific domain or equivalent gained from experience working with glass and/or detergent and/or pharmaceutical industries

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical role

  • Competencies:

  • Able to work independently and effectively with both external customers and global internal teams

  • Product and process expertise and advice for Bicar and Soda ash

  • Market and product application expertise

  • English and German are key and mandatory; French is a plus but not mandatory (RESUMES MUST BE SENT IN ENGLISH)

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the German base pay reasonably expected for this role is € 83.000 to € 104.000, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
