Amazon New Accounts Manager - Munich/Berlin in Berlin, Germany

Amazon Marketplace continues to evolve to be the best place for third party selling partners of all sizes to reach out to hundreds of millions of customers by leveraging our tools and services.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, customer obsessed, and highly motivated New Accounts Manager to support the expansion of the international selling partner business on the European Amazon websites and help them grow on the Amazon Marketplace.

In this role, you will be responsible for initiating and developing strong relationships with selling partners of all sizes. You will be Amazon’s main point of contact for these selling partners, managing the day-to-day interactions and identification of opportunities to help them grow on Amazon Marketplace.

This role provides a real opportunity to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions. You will work autonomously, with a consultancy approach, taking responsibility for achieving business objectives.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and commercial skills. Successful candidate has superpowers in account management and data analysis, is keen on setting high standards targets and achieving results and is an active and cooperative team member.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and launch selling partners to sell on Amazon’s European marketplaces

  • Define and improve strategies for recruiting new selling partners

  • Set up selling partners for success, delivering new business growth

Basic Qualifications

  • Fluent/native German and English language skills, both verbal & written

  • Some experience in Sales/Business Development is preferred

  • Strong Direct Sales and objection-handling skills, with a proven track record of performance

  • Action and results driven mind-set, working autonomously and taking responsibility for achieving your quarterly targets

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to persuade and explain complex concepts in a simple manner.

  • Analytical with the ability to apply Excel skills effectively

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or experience in sales or marketing (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or similar

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data analytics, either in a professional or academic capacity

  • Experience in Internet, e-commerce and retail companies is preferable.

  • Supply chain management, operations and process improvement knowledge.
