What part will you play?

  • You will be responsible - as part of a company-wide transformation project - for the introduction of a new ERP system (SAP S/4), i.e. supporting the agile development and piloting of a new SAP template for the business unit's plants especially in regard to internal and external logistics processes.

  • You will conduct a thorough analysis of existing business processes and systems to identify the underlying needs, as well as areas for improvement and develop a roadmap for the ERP transformation.

  • You will drive the standardization and harmonization of business processes. This includes, but is not limited to, promoting the adoption of best practices and standard processes integrated into the solutions provided by the ERP vendor, as well as managing deviation from best practices and standard processes based on demonstrable business benefits.

  • To achieve this task, you will design well thought out concepts for logistics and preferably also QM-related functions that fulfill our wish for standardization and harmonization and serve the needs of our factories.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements, define project goals, and develop a comprehensive project plan.

  • You act as an interface between the plants and the central project management and define a business- and process-oriented approach to the implementation of Lean ERP in the business unit's factories.

  • By guiding and supporting the project team throughout the implementation process, including resource allocation, task assignment, and problem solving, you'll ensure successful project implementation in terms of scope, budget, and timeline.

  • Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements in ERP systems and technologies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

What you need to make real what matters.

  • Master's degree or equivalent qualification from reputable university or college.

  • Long years subject-specific professional experience in manufacturing-related logistics, IT or a similar field.

  • Proven experience as a project leader or project manager, preferably in ERP implementation or transformation projects in a manufacturing context.

  • Strong understanding of several SAP modules (MM, WM, EWM, QM) and the IT landscape in the factory environment combined with in-depth knowledge of production, quality assurance and logistics processes with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and propose effective solutions.

  • First experience with SAP S/4 HANA would be advantageous.

  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, manage resources, and execute projects within scope, budget, and schedule.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and solve project-related problems.

  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English, as well as having interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional worldwide teams and stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities at the same time.
