Red Hat Enterprise Sales Leader - Germany (m/f/d) in Berlin, Germany

About the Job:

The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Regional Enterprise Sales Leader to join us in the Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for leading revenue generating activities and overall organizational performance, with a focus on overachieving ARR/ACV targets for the region. To succeed in this role, you need to be a results oriented leader with a solid customer, partner, and revenue oriented mindset with the ability to inspire confidence. You should be comfortable leading in a matrixed organization. You’ll manage your local customers’ and partners’ needs while operating within Red Hat’s globally defined Enterprise go-to-market strategy and operating model. As a Regional Enterprise Sales Leader, you’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth and predictable sales fulfillment in the region, while meeting or exceeding targets, and serve as the central point of contact for resolution between the Enterprise and Commercial regional organizations. You’ll be critical in supporting the acceleration of Red Hat as a diverse, inclusive, and customer-centric world-class leader in open source innovation. As a senior leader with Red Hat, you must be inspirational, and capable of contributing to the overall company strategy. The position reports directly to the Country Manager with dotted line reporting to the EMEA Enterprise Sales Leader.

What you will do:

  • Coach Sales Managers and Account Executives to drive high performance and ensure great skills and enablement are available to deliver the most knowledgeable and competitive field organization in the industry

  • Recruit, develop, and retain world-class leadership and talent at all levels of the Enterprise team

  • Manage pipeline development and forecasting accuracy to maintain solid revenue growth

  • Create an Enterprise Plan to meet fiscal targets and develop transformational deals with the team and collaborate with global segments and functional leads to guide Red Hat’s go-to-market strategy and approach

  • Focus on customer engagement and experience as a priority for you and your team. Join key customer meetings for top deals and establish governance models with strategic accounts.

  • Promote and leverage end-to-end co-sell partner engagement to maximize leads, opportunities, and joint revenue potential

  • Maintain a high performing regional management system, implementing globally consistent operational and financial key performance indicators, holding associates accountable for results

  • Serve as the point of contact for escalations for all enterprise account approvals and conflicts within the region including pricing approvals, prioritization of resource allocation to accounts

What you will bring:

  • 10+ years of experience selling software or service infrastructure solutions into large enterprise organizations through a partner-led sales motion

  • Exceptional business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to apply strategic and quantitative approach

  • Demonstrated record of building and leading high-performing, geographically-distributed, multifaceted teams

  • Proven ability to perform in a consultative manner and foster trust and cooperation with colleagues and stakeholders

  • Extensive experience leading sales in an organization where the solution set requires a solid understanding of the broader technology ecosystem and the complexity of effective architecture and integration of solutions

  • Technical ability to understand Red Hat’s solutions portfolio and help shape solution strategy and development

  • Demonstrated ability to surpass goals, seizing opportunities to extend your limits, and define new opportunities to serve customers through partners and increase results

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver on the sales strategy and value proposition for Enterprise organizations within your respective geo and region ensuring alignment with broader organizational and product strategies

  • Ability to challenge assumptions and conventional wisdom with specific, supported, reasoned proposals, and lead the organization to new ways of doing business, new operating models, and improved customer engagement

  • Demonstrated ability to lead an organization by engaging, developing, and motivating team members

  • Excellent communication skills to articulate long-term direction and collaborate with the team on how to reach it

  • Demonstrated ability to hold yourself and associates accountable for commitments, providing clarity, and outlining clear and shared expectations for success

  • Able to raise the level of overall organizational performance and capability through mentorship, professional development, and comprehensive skills enhancement
