SAP Associate Developer (f/m/d) for HANA Cloud Innovation in Berlin, Germany

What you'll do

  • Participate in the development of SAP HANA Cloud features by writing, testing, and debugging code for cloud services and infrastructure.

  • Expand your programming skills in multiple languages, including Go and Python, as well as C and Rust, with a focus on infrastructure automation.

  • Develop and apply expertise and problem-solving abilities to prevent and address production issues, while also improving product stability, scalability, and operability.

  • Work as part of a supportive team, actively giving and receiving feedback to produce optimal results.

  • Provide support for different cross-organizational projects as needed.

  • Pursue ongoing learning and support technological and procedural improvements and efficiencies.

  • Contribute to OpenSource projects.

  • Engage with a management team that recognizes and supports the capabilities and growth of the technical team.

  • Participate in a rotational on-call system.

  • Collaborate with diverse teams located in different geographical regions.

What you bring

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German are necessary, along with a willingness to collaborate effectively.

  • Preferred is experience with SaaS environments.

  • Basic knowledge in cloud computing and container orchestration solutions, particularly Kubernetes and its operators.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities are essential, with the capacity to understand complex technical issues.

  • Exposure to various systems languages such as Go, Rust, C/C or Java is preferred, with emphasis on Go and Rust.

  • The ability to comprehend complex systems from core principles and a strong passion for troubleshooting is a must, along with being self-motivated.
