About the Job

As a Safe Launch Operator at KI Industries Inc., you will play a crucial role in inspecting parts so that they meet or exceed the quality expectations of the customer.  

Responsibilities

  • Validate that the correct paperwork is at the worktable.

  • Sort acceptable parts, based on training given, to meet the quality requirements of the customer.

  • Notify the supervisor of conditions that fail to meet minimal acceptance criteria.

  • Report on the quantities accepted and rejected, as well as the time required to complete inspection on a per-lot basis.

  • Maintain the housekeeping of the work area at the beginning and end of each shift by ensuring that boxes are closed, floors are swept, and the area is cleaned and left in an orderly fashion.

  • Perform other work-related activities as deemed necessary by the supervisor.

  • Assist the Shipping / Receiving department with various tasks, including unloading incoming containers, scanning inventory, completing pick tickets, moving products to the Finished Goods warehouse, and stocking Finished Goods in the appropriate locations in the warehouse as needed.

    Qualifications

  • Dexterous enough to perform tasks.

  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs.

  • Able to use a two-wheel hand cart.

  • Capable of meeting the job responsibilities with sufficient visual capabilities.

  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions in English.

    Education

    High School Diploma or GED
