Avient Corporation Plant Manager in Berea, Ohio

General Summary The Plant Manager is responsible for effectively planning, directing and coordinating all activities for liquid color / additive manufacturing operations of an assigned plant. These activities include safety, environmental, quality, production, cost and leadership of the site workforce. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provides direction, maintains resources and manages programs to ensure the plant's safety and environmental performance meets established goals. Develops and implements plans to reduce waste, meet applicable regulatory standards and handle emergency situations that may arise at the Site. Develop a plant operating plan that is consistent with and supports the overall business plan. Determines what resources are required to successfully implement the operating plan and then secures them. Ensures standards for product quality, equipment and operator performance are maintained and that cost-effective technology is used to maximize production. Develops capital and strategic plans to improve plant operations. Manages plant performance at or below annual budgeted cost levels. Develops employees through training, engagement activities and other involvement programs to create a strong team environment. Ensures subordinate career development goals are identified and appropriate plans are established to support the initiatives. Represents Avient to the external community in a professional and positive manner.
