Position Summary...
What you'll do...
Site Experience Possesses knowledge of: Site navigation; site standards; visual merchandising methodologies; site tools and administrative systems (for example, Tempo, Tango). To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Builds and optimizes sites for one or more departments by designing and executing unpaid traffic plans, category displays, product layouts, and featured items. Drives customer behavior and traffic through search results, navigation strategies, and collaboration with cross-functional partners in Marketing to reach customers. Makes recommendations to internal business partners on site changes based on customer insights (for example, purchase and navigation history). Influential Communication Possesses knowledge of: Verbal/nonverbal behaviors; application and allocation of business communication styles/techniques in ambiguous and challenging situations; situational awareness; communication channels/mediums; interpersonal skills and universal relationship building. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Organizes thoughts and communicate credibly and concisely in an interdivisional/interdepartmental setup. Presents to and influences team members, customers, and clients, conveying complex information clearly and accurately and addressing ambiguity in a constructive manner. Independently assembles and prepares reports, materials, and storylines that have a structure and logical flow and are based on relevant, fact-based information. Influences team members and leaders to take action based on sound recommendations. Seeks and provides constructive feedback, anticipates needs/questions, and responds appropriately. Market and Customer Analysis Possesses knowledge of: Data gathering and reporting tools; market data sources; customer behavior analysis methodologies. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Uses customer analytics as the basis for performance forecasts for specific product lines or services. Advises team members on the key benefits, drawbacks, and rationales for using customer analytics to predict customer trends. Creates business analysis reports from customer analytics data extracts and provides detailed insights. Evaluates market data sources and key indicators. Advises others about ongoing and planned market activities and their implications. Evaluates key assumptions and variables that factor into the conclusions of market research. Recommends strategies to senior management based on market research results. Compares the performance of the organization's website against key performance indicators. Implements web tools to quantify website traffic changes following the launch of events, promotions, and campaigns. Measures a website's potential audience (opportunity), share of voice (visibility), and buzz (comments) as compared to the internet as a whole. Category Strategy Management Possesses knowledge of: eCommerce retail environments; merchandising strategies and plans; business plan development processes. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Identifies and assesses the value of adopting or adapting elements of business models from other industries. Contributes to short/long-term plans and monitors the progress of work required to meet objectives. Identifies savings opportunities and plans, makes recommendations, and executes across categories. Supports and provides recommendations on category/department strategy. Analyzes the organization's wider environment (for example, business, economic, financial indicators) and draws conclusions about the impacts of events and activities on organizational goals, strategies, products, and services. Devises long-term strategic responses based on an understanding of external factors on the organization's performance. Examines business needs and identifies trends and insights to link ideas or events to influence business decisions. Provides advice and support to improve business and financial understanding and awareness within the business. Partners with stakeholders, internal and external, to identify and assess strategy choices for business. Conducts analysis to support strategic initiatives and provide input on actionable insights stemming from analysis. Partnerships Possesses knowledge of: Communication channels; team dynamics; organizational ways of working. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Analyzes stakeholder needs and partners with stakeholders to share relevant information, solve business problems, and synergize efforts. Brings ideas and solutions proactively to the business and team members. Influences outcomes and assists in communicating shared goals with diverse groups and parties by linking interests. Actively listens to others, seeks and provides constructive feedback, and provides ideas/recommendations on processes. Product Management and Innovation Possesses knowledge of: Product discovery processes; product roadmap design methodologies; prioritization approaches. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Identifies customer problems, business opportunities, requirements/needs for new products, and customer tools. Owns product discovery processes (for example, cadence, feedback, iteration, backlog management) for a simple customer problem. Builds product roadmaps with proper phasing. Communicates product roadmaps to cross-functional partners and stakeholders, leveraging elements such as PRDs/white-papers. Independently (or with minimal guidance) conducts activities for product/ feature analytics with an understanding of simple trends/insights. Utilizes customer feedback to solve for current product and tool gaps and develop new and easy to-use products. Campaigns and Launches Possesses knowledge of: Campaign processes; program/project management tools; promotional tools and methods; promotional guidelines. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Prepares launch plans detailing themes, agendas, and site locations. Schedules activities before and during events and communicates changes in timelines. Evaluates the success of product launches and promotional campaigns and provides relevant recommendations and insights. Coordinates and arranges campaign resources (for example, artefacts, approvals, information). Provides a specific scope of service for a given launch (for example, offers, promotions). Site Structure Management Possesses knowledge of: Search engine optimization; site structure; site taxonomy; web analytics tools. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Collaborates with and understands the value of other research partners (for example, site analytics, consumer insights) to synthesize and leverage existing data and coordinate research efforts. Follows search engine optimization strategies or requirements to deliver high-quality content. Reviews raw data containing the factors influencing search rankings and analyzes their use in search engine optimization performance. Creates tracking systems to measure the relevance and popularity of website content. Conducts reviews the landing page content, keywords, and advertisement text to ensure relevance. Reporting and Insights Possesses knowledge of Database tools (for example, SQL, Oracle); visualization tools (for example, Tableau etc.); storytelling through information. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Ensures data quality and organization and processes information for analysis. Defines benchmarks and quality rules for key data assets. Use advanced knowledge in data discovery tools to write queries and analyze data to identify patterns, trends, outliers, and correlations. Provides insights to the business based on research findings. Generates appropriate graphical representations of data and models outcomes. Creates basic storytelling through the data analytics in reports. Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices. The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
