Position Summary:
This role will support the Corporate Facility team for the new Home Office Campus. Primary responsibility will be with the Exterior Services Landscape Infrastructure. The selected candidate will take a lead role in the overall program and project management within the landscape Infrastructure trade for Walmart Facilities. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, along with a solid understanding of landscape design, and equipment operation are essential for success in this role.
Job Description:
Carries out preparatory actions such as clearing, grading, and soil preparation based on site analysis.
Operate tools and equipment, such as compactors, skid steers, concrete mixers, mini excavators, saws, drills, trenchers and leveling tools.
Responsible for planning, executing, and completing landscaping projects.; and collaborating with clients, architects, and designers to develop designs and plans, prepare project proposals, and conduct site assessments.
Resource allocation involving coordinating the procurement of materials, equipment, and labor, scheduling work, and overseeing landscape crews to maximize productivity and minimize waste. This may involve sourcing and purchasing materials, equipment maintenance, and optimizing workflow processes.
Ensure quality control by monitoring installation methods and inspecting work for accuracy and aesthetics.
Enforce safety protocols to protect team members and maintain site safety; ensure that all projects meet local codes and environmental regulations.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and sustainable landscaping techniques.
Participates with teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools; determining customer needs and business priorities; coordinating and executing work assignments in a timely manner.
Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners.
Demonstrates, promotes, and supports compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by explaining, guiding, and demonstrating how to apply these in executing business processes and practices; implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and assisting management with correcting ethical and compliance opportunities.

3-5 years of grounds maintenance, hardscaping, equipment operation experience

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00-$110,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field OR 2 years' experience in facilities maintenance or related area.
Must be able to obtain and maintain DOT certification, meeting all health, safety and driving record qualifications required by the Department of Transportation.
*Walmart will cover costs associated with DOT certification.
Must be able to uphold and abide by all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR), including but not limited to compliance with safe work practices, policies, processes and adhering to Walmart Safety Policies.
Must be able to follow all Federal, State and Local Municipality laws and regulations.
Must be willing/able to utilize DOT certification to drive a company vehicle to transport landscaping equipment and crews to job site(s).
