Membership Growth Coordinator, Bentonville, AR

In this role, you'll report to the Member Experience Director and support the presentation and promotion of facilities, programs, and services to the eligible Walmart population. A primary goal will be to positively impact membership sales growth and the member experience. You'll work as part of a relationship building team that helps members navigate through programs and service offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive membership growth strategies to meet organizational targets.

  • Design and implement marketing campaigns to attract new members, utilizing various channels including digital marketing, social media, email, events, and partnerships.

  • Monitor and report on membership metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential and current members to ensure high satisfaction and retention rates.

  • Coordinate membership drives, events, and other activities aimed at increasing membership numbers.

  • Other duties as needed/assigned.

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality or related discipline OR the equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.

  • Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED & First Aid certifications (obtained in person or blended) through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required by first day of work.

  • Excellent customer service, patience, and communication skills, including the ability to motivate others. A passion for helping people live healthier lives and work as part of a team.

  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office programs and member management software. Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

  • Proven experience in membership growth, sales, or marketing roles, ideally within a membership-based organization.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative solutions to drive membership growth.

  • Hospitality, sales and/or administrative experience is a plus, but not required. Ideal applicants will have 1+ year of experience working in the field of fitness, recreation, and/or wellness.

  • Additional preferred skills: Experience in event planning and management; Knowledge of the fitness market and member needs; Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation: $24 - $25/hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
