Benton Foundry Maintenance Technician - 2nd or 3rd Shift in Benton, Pennsylvania
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN -- 2nd or 3rd shift
Benton Foundry was recently awarded "Metalcaster of the Year" by Modern Casting Magazine. We are a third-generation, family-owned company, with a state-of-the art manufacturing facility located in Benton, PA. We are currently seeking Maintenance Technicians to be a part of our hard-working, dedicated, team!
As a Maintenance Technician in our foundry, your responsibilities may include:
- Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
- Completes Maintenance work orders as assigned.
- Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs.
- Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician.
- Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
- Assists with upkeep of the facilities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Education and Experience:
- On-the-job training offered.
- Company-paid training opportunities available.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to work at heights.
Successful candidate must have their own basic hand tools. Excellent attendance is also required.
