Warehouse Associate - Bensenville, IL

Job Description

Our client is one of China's leading service providers of express logistics, working extensively with Amazon. This role is based in a new distribution center in Bensenville, IL. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of general warehouse tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive pallets and break them down

• Scan each product into the system

• Verify orders are correct per packing slip/Warehouse Management System (WMS)

• Sort products and palletize based on final destination or store on racks for inventory

• Label all outgoing products via UPS, FEDEX, or internal system

• Load trucks using a sit-down forklift

• Conduct cycle counts

• Perform moderate cleaning tasks such as disposal of pallets, sweeping, mopping, and general upkeep as needed

Work Environment

This position will involve working 80% of the time on the warehouse floor and 20% doing computer work. You will be part of the inbound team, lifting 50 lbs. about 50% of the time. This is a contract position through February for peak season, working Monday to Friday.
