Position: Diesel Technician

Location: Benicia, CA

Openings: 4

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7am - 5pm (50-hour work weeks)

Pay: $30 to $50 per hour, depending on experience

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Diesel Technician to join our team in Benicia, As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for responding to service calls on a daily basis to repair a variety of trucks and construction vehicles. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Hoist distribution trucks

• Bucket trucks

• Utility-based trucks

• Backhoes

• Front loaders

• Track trucks

• Excavators

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related equipment.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

• Respond to service calls and travel to various job sites, which may include long-distance commutes.

• Utilize company-provided fuel card and truck for transportation to and from job sites.

• Perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing on and under trucks and heavy equipment.

Qualifications:

• 2-8 years of experience as an Auto Mechanic or Diesel Technician.

• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and related systems.

• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

• Willingness to travel long distances for service calls.

• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks.
