Robert Half is currently seeking skilled candidates for a Temp-to-Hire Accounts Payable Specialist role in the education industry located in Benicia, CA. This client has a reputation as a great place to work and is eager to add a dedicated and experienced individual to their dynamic team.

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for a range of general accounting tasks primarily responsible for all accounts payable processes, but are not limited to this. Your ability to manage accounts payable, be detailed, precise and accurate will play a vital role in your success.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Processing of accounts payable

• Reconciliation of statements

• Cheque runs

• Coding, entering and posting of invoices

• Collection and reviewing of timesheets

• Preparing and sending out invoices

• Dealing with queries from clients and suppliers

  Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table)

• Knowledge of any accounting software is an asset

• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset

• Strong communication skills

• Detail-oriented, accurate and ability to multitask.
