Google Technical Program Manager, Analytics and Insights in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in program management.

  • Experience in working cross-functionally and developing narratives with strategy, stakeholder management, change management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience using investigative and data science to solve product or business problems in a program or engineering management role.

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • Experience in establishing methods, tools, and process improvements with organizational change management.

  • Knowledge of data, metrics, analysis and trends, measurement, statistics and program evaluation.

  • Excellent business acumen and investigative skills, with the ability to identify and frame business problems that can be addressed with data-motivated solutions.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

  • Guide investigative initiatives by identifying critical problems, proposing solutions, and motivating them to fruition. Build credibility with stakeholders by serving as a thought partner and demonstrating communication skills to advocate for data-motivated insights.

  • Simplify business questions with visualizations and frameworks, leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to deliver insights.

  • Shape the direction and guide associated engineering and data infrastructure efforts. Provide mentorship to improve data quality, tools, and methodologies to scale the team's impact.

  • Solve technical and organizational tests in a changing environment with quantitative and leadership skills.

  • Develop cross-domain business metrics and dashboards for leadership to provide insights, trend analyses, and indicators.
