Job Description

Work with Oracle's world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle's global infrastructure. For this role within our team,

The below initiatives are primarily the tasks that the new hire will be involved in:

1. Critical troubleshooting in one of our products with core RCA skill in Windows systems

2. OCI migration for several projects where team is engaged in migration of existing solution from on-prem / AWS to Cloud (OCI)

3. SME experience in Linux for troubleshooting of all nature for critical client systems

4. Must be willing to participate in 12X7 on-call rotation once in 4-6 weeks (All team members in rotation)

5. Improving client experience by resolving urgent and mission critical issues as and when identified / reported and providing subject matter handling incidents

Must have skills: Linux Administration, Windows Administration, Docker fundamentals, Docker Swarm Basics, Zabbix fundamentals, Cloud Fundamentals

Nice to have: Splunk, New Relic, F5, Shell / Python Scripting, Kubernetes

Career Level - IC2

Responsibilities

Provide support to internal users of Oracle Applications and legacy applications and ensure maximum efficiency in the use of those applications. Respond to requests for support by users. Test and coordinate testing of new releases of Oracle Applications. Log bugs against applications and follow up with IT and Development. Monitor future applications releases. Train users on features of applications. Maintain applications responsibilities based on work group of user. Act as reporting resource. Represent users at Data Center meetings, user meetings at quarter end and whenever necessary.
