PCS Platform is building NextGen IOMT Platform. As a Staff Software Engineer – DevOps for PCS (Patient Care Solutions) – Platform, you will be accountable & responsible for driving business and enabler features for the platform programs.

The Staff Software Engineer – Devops is a critical and highly visible role within PCS Platform teams. This role is responsible for helping in defining & executing devops strategy / culture for PCS Platform teams.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

• Demonstrate the understanding of Agile software development lifecycle / XP practices.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, testing, and monitoring of infrastructure and applications.

• Develop, enable and enhance the test infrastructure and continuous integration framework used across teams.

• Determine best practices and principals and promotes them across the team.

• Demonstrate expert knowledge in developing and executing automated builds and scripts.

• Continuously learn new build and releases techniques and methodologies and trains the team in the same.

• Work with developers and stakeholders to deliver quality software through the build and deployment system.

• Use industry best practices to improve Build, Release and Continuous integration processes.

• Execute in a fast pace delivery mode and focus in delivering tasks to meet the product release goal

• Seek and provide feedback on design and development

• Demonstrate the ability to make informed technology choices after due diligence and impact assessment

• Articulate the need for scalability and understand the importance of improving quality through testing.

• Manage key deliverables and mentors junior team members.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelors/master’s degree in computer science engineering or related disciplines

• A minimum of 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development

• Deep understanding of build tools / process – Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven / Gradle, SAST & DAST – tools, SONAR, shell scripting, Python

• Strong experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.

• Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies such as Docker

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
