Exadata Cloud Service is the premium database cloud service offering from Oracle . It allows you to maximise the power of Exadata in the cloud. We are looking for an experienced Cloud Ops Engineer with cloud services experience to join our Cloud operations team . The team is responsible for managing the Oracle's Exadata Cloud Service Fleet consisting of thousands of Exadata racks. You'll be part of a team of experts who build operate and maintain large fleet of Exadata racks. You will provide support for implementation, fix and maintenance of Exadata Infrastructure in the cloud. Responsibilities include handling Exadata system infrastructure and processes related to these systems including day-to-day operation, monitoring, fix and problem-resolution.

Responsibilities
Core Activities And Responsibilities
Design, automate, deploy, and maintain Oracle Exadata Cloud Service
Work closely with development team to define infrastructure and deployment requirements
Troubleshoot systems and provide problem resolution
Script and automate any routine manual systems tasks
Be available to participate in on call rotation
Minimum Educational Qualifications
B.E/M.E in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
Language Proficiency
Must-have: Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of Exadata, Real Application Clusters, Oracle database, Storage, and Linux fundamentals.
Knowledge of network fundamentals such as VCN, Ethernet, RoCE, TCP/IP, routing, DHCP etc.
Experience automating management of Linux based infrastructure
Ability to automate tasks using Python, Perl, bash
Soft Skills
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a global virtual team environment
Preferred Qualifications
Cloud services management, monitoring, troubleshooting and debugging experience
Experience with build automation, continuous integration, or continuous deployment tools
Experience with containerization technologies and modern tools such as Docker, Github, Jira, Teamcity, and Bitbucket
Experience with Virtualization Infrastructures such as KVM and XEN
