ABOUT THE TEAM

This role is part of the Public Sector – India Solutions Architect team within Amazon Web Services India Private Limited. The position focuses on working with healthcare organisations across various Indian states. Our customers operate in diverse domains, including:

Healthcare, Life Sciences, Genomics, Medical Research.

Key job responsibilities

THE ROLE

As an AWS Solutions Architect in this team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based solutions for public sector healthcare clients throughout India. Your expertise will be crucial in helping these organisations leverage AWS services to improve patient care, accelerate medical research, and drive innovation in the healthcare industry.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Collaborating with healthcare providers, research institutions, and government health agencies to understand their unique challenges and requirements.

• Designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures tailored to the specific needs of healthcare and life sciences organisations.

• Assisting clients in migrating existing workloads to the AWS cloud and optimising their infrastructure for improved performance and efficiency.

• Implementing data analytics and machine learning solutions to help healthcare organizations derive actionable insights from their clinical and research data.

• Ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and data privacy standards.

• Providing guidance on best practices for genomics data management, analysis, and storage using AWS services.

• Supporting the development of innovative healthcare applications, such as telemedicine platforms, patient engagement portals, and clinical decision support systems.

• Collaborating with AWS partners to deliver comprehensive solutions that address the unique challenges faced by healthcare and life sciences organisations in India.

By working in this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming healthcare delivery, advancing medical research, and improving patient outcomes across India through the power of cloud computing and AWS technologies.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience

• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries

• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud

• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
