Why this job matters

The Software Engineering Practitioner executes a range of software engineering tasks in the delivery of the software engineering strategy and roadmap that supports BT's commercial strategy through cross functional collaboration and the participation of a team that pursues innovation as well as engineering excellence.

What you’ll be doing

• QlikSense Architect/Solution Designer: - At Least 10+ years of experience with QlikSense and solution blueprinting through implementation of data visualisation platform

• Data Security, Data Governance: Design and delivery of solutions using QlikSense for user Authorisation & Data entitlements

• Qlik APIs, Integrations: Design and delivery of interface system designs for multiple interfacing systems

• QlikSense Administration

• Performance improvements & Inlife design: Design and delivery of optimizing data load and performance tuning reporting platforms.

• Infra capacity sizing: Infrastructure capacity assessment and prepare the system design documents for deploying QlikSense platform at Enterprise scale

• Big Query: Having delivered solutions using Big-Query & QlikSense

• DevOps: Understand how to implement DevOps and work in an agile way / Versioning / Automation / Defect Management

• Cloud: At least 2+ year experience with one of the following cloud vendors: GCP/AWS

• Change: Experience in change management in order to deliver change successfully, ensure it is embedded and maintained

QlikSense Certifications: QlikSense System Administratror/Data Architect- good to have
