About role

As a Global eCommerce DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to engage product and development teams to analyze requirements, perform design, build, and deploy system through code, support continuous quality validation and deployment of releases, identify opportunities for system improvements, and drive innovative ideas. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud and systems architecture, web development frameworks and SDLC processes, exercising Agile Kanban rituals, develop automation script and code for infrastructure, deployment, and performance metrics synthesis, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively analyze problems and communicate information.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and evaluate task and project requirements and synthesize work units for effective planning, tracking, and delivery.

  • Provide technical support to a product development and managements on solution design and implementations.

  • Ensure the platforms systems, denoting infrastructure, and code, to achieve high reliability, availability, and performance through design and data.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to the Global eCommerce platform, performing incident and problem resolution and analysis

  • Collaborate with clients, developers, and third-party vendors to understand and resolve complex technical problems utilizing request, incident, and response systems.

  • Configure and optimize cloud environments with standard deployment method and templates

  • Document configurations, technical solutions, troubleshooting steps, and best practices for knowledge sharing and reference purposes

  • Knowledge share and internal staff on configurations, operations procedures, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

  • Proven experience working with cloud infrastructure and platforms in as a proficient engineer and operator, skilled in design, development, deployment, and administration of the systems.

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the CI/CD pipeline design and implementation, and integration with organizational systems providing quality controls, including code quality and security requirements.

  • Proficiency in shell scripting, python, and or other related languages.

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Certification(s) in industry recognized cloud and or system practices, such as Amazon Certified Cloud Practitioner, Architect, GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer, etc.

  • Preferred proficiency in Java or similar OOP languages such as C#, C++, or Objective-C Preferred experience in supporting marketing products and websites and experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Experience working with Scrum ban and Kanban in Azure ADO, Atlassian Jira, etc. Experience with version control systems such as Git. Familiarity with performance optimization of code and systems. Understanding of e-commerce business processes and industry best practices. Experience with performance monitoring tools. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
