Oracle Software Developer 3 in BENGALURU, India

Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree(B.E./B.Tech./M.C.A/M.Tech./M.S.) from reputed universities.

Experience:

  • 4+ years hands-on experience with web application development using Java/J2EE and open-source technologies.

  • These should include Core Java, JAXB, SOAP, XML ,JSON, XML/XSLT ,Junit, JMock/Mockito, Swagger

  • Strong Object-Oriented design skills with ability to abstract out design patterns

  • Strong knowledge of Spring and Dependency Injection (IOC)

  • Experience in design & development of REST APIs using java

  • Understanding of source code management tools such as Git

  • Knowledge of UI technologies - Ajax, Knockout, jQuery, DWR GWT, FreeMarker,Javascript, CSS

  • Knowledge of one or more of the following RDBMS is highly desirable: DB2, Oracle, MS SQL Server

  • Experience with Eclipse/JDeveloper or similar development environments

  • Knowledge of security/access control and Internationalization.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English language .

  • Strong track record in delivering complex, high quality software to production users in a timely fashion

  • Ability to work as part of an interactive, collaborative team as well as independently.

  • Fast learner, self-motivated, result-oriented and Can-do attitude. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Understanding of Agile practices and continuous integration.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of CPQ product

  • Knowledge of Oracle JET / VBCS

  • Familiarity with MicroServices

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
