Job Description

This posting is Software Developer/Lead in the Pipeline Team within the Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) . Work would involve developing/supporting solutions that would primarily be for BI Applications for the cloud.

Job Description:* Good knowledge of Scala.* Good knowledge on Spark/Parquet* Good knowledge of Core Java.* Experience on Spring/Hibernate/Rest-API* Should have worked on developing Rest Applications/Micro Services.Should have developed applications that are designed for the cloud.* Should be able to write SQL queries and also have experience working with database through Java/scala (i.e. JDBC etc)* Experience in multi-platform development, including UNIX-based platforms and Windows.* Knowledge of Datawarehousing Fundamentals would be a bonus* Any experience with CICD/GIT/Teamcity is an added advantage.

Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence is built on Oracle Analytics Cloud and powered by Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse Cloud. It provides personalised application analytics, benchmarks, and machine learning-powered predictive insights across all line-of-business job functions and business processes for Oracle Cloud Applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, troubleshoot/support Rest APIs/web services/Spark jobs with integration with the database

• Able to specify, design and implement changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

• Ability to work in an extremely fast paced and challenging, global environment
