As a Senior Verification Architect you will be Leading Diagnostic Cardiology level programs from a Test perspective, covering test strategy through to test delivery, Partnering with project stakeholders for day-to-day planning, brainstorming, and execution. Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction.

  • Review the test code from software developers to ensure adherence to the framework roadmap and best practices.

  • Improve the test development process & reliability of the verification tests.

  • Decrease the overall Verification and Validation cycle by increasing automated tests and reducing the time the automated testing takes.

  • Reduce the manual interactions needed to execute automated tests by building out the continuous testing infrastructure.

  • Support the development software and data delivery platforms with reusable components that can be orchestrated together into different methods.

  • Research and evaluate emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities. Define and implement testing strategies.

  • Assess effectiveness of the process and implement changes to enhance the efficiency of the testing process.

  • Collaborate with developers, project managers, product managers and other stakeholders to ensure that the release goals are well understood, and testing is aligned with requirements.

  • Track and monitor testing metrices, defect burn downs and testing progress.

  • Lead test team members, tool and processes within test team.

  • Drive automation and strive to improve quality, coverage and effectiveness.

  • Ensure all test deliverables are of quality and compliance to GEHC QMS guidelines.

  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.

  • Responsible for testing a product or products, developing test plans, test cases and automating test cases using the latest technologies. Understand how the product will be used by the customer and develop test cases based on the product usage. Understand the architecture of the product being developed and understand the dependencies between different components.

  • Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with a minimum of 12 years of experience in software development or Testing.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Test Architect leading a testing team.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience in programming language - C or C++or Java

  • Hands on experience in Automation frameworks-BDD or Selenium.

  • Hands on experience in Cloud -AWS or Azure or Google Cloud

  • Ability to consult customer on alignment of outcomes and desired technical solutions at an enterprise level

  • Ability to Analyze, design, and develop a software solution roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state of the business.

  • Working knowledge of configuration choices and related cost implications; Experience with complex solution configurations.

  • Knowledgeable of full range of solution catalog within a business unit and able to discuss overall solution at depth.

  • Experience sustaining operational stability through various life cycle phases (planning, implementation, steady state, de-commissioning); Ability to provision and budget via capital and operating.

  • Able to lead early-stage customer interactions; Guide customers as they develop confidence and comfort with approaches and integrate with their legacy tech investments.
