Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in Software-Defined Networking, Google Cloud, Cloud Networking, and TCP/IP.

• Experience with multicast, telemetry, SmartNICs, and high performance data path designs and implementations.

• Experience with C++, Software Architecture, Distributed Systems, Software Engineering, Networking Protocols, Network Virtualization.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to become an expert in planet scale networking, understand various data planes, work up and down the stack (e.g., datapath, control stack, and cloud stack). You will build high performance packet processing applications.

• Design and implement the data path engine a core component running within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Unlock seamless multi-cast traffic distribution within the cloud, breaking down existing boundaries.

• Provide technical leadership to junior engineers in the team locally.
