The Oracle Application Platform Team enables this application transformation through the creation of our new Redwood user interface components and enterprise-scale backend services. We are on a quest to provide the most productive platform for developers to build beautiful application experiences for our customers.

This team is working on the Visual Builder (VB), a new service in the Oracle Cloud and Oracle JavaScript Extension Toolkit (JET). VB enables developers to visually and productively build rich business applications that work across multiple devices - from mobile to desktop. Oracle JavaScript Extension Toolkit (JET) is an open-source toolkit containing web components and services that power Oracle's Cloud applications. It uses a variety of frontend technologies to provide a modern, flexible framework used by thousands of application developers inside and outside of Oracle.

As part of the team, you will be working on designing and implementing features that bring Oracle's award-winning next-generation design system (Redwood) to life. You will have the opportunity to develop functionality for JET components and ensure that they are properly exposed to application developers in environments like Visual Studio Code and Oracle Visual Builder Studio.

You will gain experience in a variety of technologies including (but not limited to) JavaScript, TypeScript, Preact, JSX/TSX, karma, mocha, jest, git, and npm. You will also have the opportunity to work directly with senior developers, architects, and designers to deliver world-class user experiences throughout Oracle's suite of applications.

What we are looking for from you:

We are looking for developers proficient in React/Preact and other web development technologies to work on front-end development projects in application development. You will be working with a team of talented developers, leads, and architects that will provide support as you expand your skill set, tackle important problems, and resolve complex issues for Oracle and its clients. You will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle while solving challenging technical problems for our clients.

Qualifications:

• Candidates with a B.E./B.TECH. /M.C.A./M.S. (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field and exceptionally strong programming skills.

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience developing with Java, JavaScript, React, and related technologies.

• Create effectively tested, re-usable, and efficient JavaScript code

• Develop mission-critical user experiences.

• Support continuous improvement by staying up-to-date on front-end technology

• Work collaboratively with a team in an Agile environment

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Thirst for excellence, self-motivation, detail-oriented, result-oriented, and reliability.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Motivation and ability to master new technologies.
