Overview
The candidate should have an interest in Cybersecurity Operations and possess expert knowledge of technology and software development. Candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the Network Security infrastructure; also, to collaborate with other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes. Experience to include creating detailed level system architectures, application development and deployment at enterprise scale, distributed computing systems and operations. The candidate should have previous cloud and On-Prem automation experience, a demonstrated track record of a production infrastructure implementations and possess both hypervisor and server/CPU hardware expertise, and at least one prior job as an IT infrastructure delivery or operations team. Responsibilities: Develop Automation platform for delivering and managing Cloud and On-Prem infrastructure including: Windows, Linux, VMWare, AWS, physical servers and networks Conducting security assessments through vulnerability testing and risk analysis Performing both internal and external security scans Analyzing security breaches to identify the root cause Verifying the security of third-party vendors and collaborating with them to meet security requirements Detailed Internet/Network Security skills - firewalls, VPN, IDS, IPS, proxies, etc Work closely with other infrastructure and application teams to develop, plan and implement automation products/services for deployments and manageability Drive technical innovation and efficiency in cloud and On-Prem infrastructure via automation scripting and working with API’s Support cloud and On-Prem servers including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting Develop scripts for automating client/server functions Reviews and approves technical designs for conformance to standards and architectural requirements Provides consultation and assists project teams in formulating solutions Ability to analyze false positives and zero-day vulnerabilities Must be able to perform under tight timeframes and execute problem solving skills Identifies and understands the key drivers that impact the business Performs business and technical requirements analysis and review Proactively learns about and evaluates emerging technologies (reviewing technical journals, team sharing, mentors, vendors, peer groups, special training) Develops, monitors and enforces technical standards Understands and leverages best practices of Information Technology Establish technical specifications that facilitate easy, accurate coding or scripting/configuration Develops information processing strategies and plans that add value and/or competitive advantage to customer Executes risk assessment utilizing established methodologies Develops relevant, repeatable criteria for assessing future risks and problems Develops appropriate metrics to measure total system performance
Qualifications
An undergraduate degree (BA/BS Computer Science, BE, BTech) is required and a graduate degree is preferred. Equivalent experience can be substituted for the degree requirement 5+ years hands on experience on Cloud platforms – AWS, Azure and VMWare Involvement in large project implementation using any of the following: AWS EC2, ELB, S3, IAM, ECS etc. (or) Azure Compute, Cloud services, Azure Active Directory, Traffic Manager, Express Route Knowledge about APIs and to architect cloud ready applications Experience conducting proof-of-concept, developing prototype and reference models Strong communication skills in order to effectively communicate with and make strategic recommendations to Senior and Executive Management as well as all levels of internal/external service partners A deep passion for technology and a love of learning new things Ability to understand business processes and develop APIs, Cloud Native applications Ability to understand customer’s business and suggest connected value proposition with other digital offerings Technical Skills: Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, Google, Oracle (Any two) Database: PL/SQL Security Tools: Nexpose, Nmap, Qradar, Alertlogic and Cloud health On-Prem Platforms: VMWare, Bare metal (HP, Dell) DevOps – (Visual Studio, GIT, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, etc) (Any two) Cloud Integration Platforms Unix (Linux, Solaris, etc) MS Windows (2012, 2016, etc) TCP/IP LDAP WAN, LAN and Cloud Hub technologies OS Security Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, etc) Certification: Having CEH is an additional advantage
