About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Securities Research Specialist
In this role, you will:
Serve as an individual contributor role in the Global Research and Economics Group supporting Wells Fargo Securities
Be responsible independently or as part of a team for research direction of industries, markets and companies
Provide research coverage with a wide knowledge of the business, marketplace and clients
Engage business to provide exceptional service to clients
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Securities Research experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Outstanding academic qualifications – MBA / MSc Finance from a premier educational institution. CFA would be an added advantage.
4+ yrs of experience in Credit Underwriting / Credit risk / Credit Rating
Strong knowledge of accounting and financial concepts
Knowledge of database tools – Factset, Capital IQ, LevFin Insights, Bloomberg
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PPT
Knowledge of VBA, Tableau, Power BI etc. would be an added advantage
Job Expectations:
Strong inclination towards building a career in Fixed Income and Credit domain
Good understanding of corporate finance, financial statement, Ratio analysis, cash flow analysis, and ability to create in-depth financial models
Impeccable communication and interpersonal relationship skills with the ability to interact with senior professionals and key stakeholders
Strong logical, analytical skills and a systematic problem-solving approach
Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office Applications - Power Point and Excel
Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Attention to detail and ability to ensure high quality of deliverables
Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management
Results driven, accountable and ability to work with multiple priorities in a fast-paced IB environment
