Oracle Senior Principal Consultant in BENGALURU, India

Job Description

We are looking for self-driven professionals interested in a career in Consulting Practice to join our niche Banking Domain. The position will support Senior Consultants Project Managers and teams of talented, professional business and technology consultants in the delivery of business focused solutions for our clients using Oracle applications, tools and technologies. Utilizing sound banking domain experience, banking product skills (Core banking & Product processors) and experience, the successful applicant will initially work on specific project tasks to achieve successful project outcomes and client referenceability. Over the long term the selected candidate will grow, with the help of extensive training and experience of the team around you, into a team lead and eventually project managers or Subject Matter experts in Business domain or Solution Architecture with full accountability & responsibility for the outcome of your own projects.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Continuously Learn & build expertise on various banking applications

  2. Develop skills and competence on our products in terms of functionality, design and architecture

  3. Lead and participate in end-to-end implementation projects of Oracle Banking applications.

  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

  5. Develop extensions or customization around our products in context of customer asks, be it UI/UX or Business functionality, Interfaces and Integration or Reports and visualizations.

  6. Install FLEXCUBE application instances on on-prem or cloud servers,

  7. Configure and manage integrations between FLEXCUBE and other banking applications, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality

  8. Involve in proof of concept to validate solutions.

  9. Oversee data migration activities, including mapping, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to migrate data into Oracle Banking applications

  10. Diagnose and resolve technical issues and system anomalies promptly.

  11. Mastery of the Oracle Banking applications v.14.7 backend tables and data model is essential.

  12. Assist in the testing and deployment of the product and the customization and developments.

  13. Interact with & influence customer stakeholders, service their business requirements in our applications & recommend alternate solutions.

  14. Prepare documentation - program specifications, architecture diagrams, integration methodologies, report specifications product configurations & best practices

SKILLS

  1. A Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Technology, Science or a Masters Degree in Computer applications.

  2. AN overall experience of 9 years plus in the banking products implementation field.

  3. Hands-on Knowledge in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Java/J2EE, SOAP and REST based Webservices.

  4. Exposure to Containerization, Microservices and Cloud native technologies, will be an added advantage

  5. Experience in Java, JavaScript, XML, J2EE, Micro services, Spring Boot, Ojet & RAD tools

  6. Knowledge of Junit, JMeter, Eclipse, GIT, Jira, Ant, Unix Shell scripting

  7. Exposure to Application servers – WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss

  8. Exposure to middleware concepts – JMS, MQ, OSB

  9. Exposure to Security concepts – PKI, SSO, SAML

  10. Good Knowledge of Config, Design & Dev.

  11. Basic knowledge of Performance Tuning and Oracle internals, interpreting AWR reports

  12. Issue analysis, Triaging, debugging skills

  13. Sound knowledge on SDLC - Water-fall and Agile Models

  14. Experience in Design / Code reviews

  15. Experience in Product Implementation and Support.

  16. Usage of tools for screen mock-up, UI prototyping tools.

  17. Experience in FLEXCUBE Implementation: Should have worked on at least two end-to-end implementations of the solution from inception to go-live

  18. Strong communication skills in both written and verbal formats.

  19. Ability to engage with a customer at all levels on Technical subjects.

  20. Ability to work independently when required, with a strong team approach.

  21. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and handle multiple projects simultaneously

  22. Good knowledge of the Oracle Banking applications v.14.7 backend tables and data model is essential.

  23. Although the job does not currently envisage any travel, willingness to travel Onsite to Customer location if required.

  24. Should be able to join in 4-8 weeks of offer
