Wells Fargo Senior Analytics Consultant in Bengaluru, India

  • About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytic Consultant

  • In this role, you will:

  • Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors

  • Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs

  • Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements

  • Lead or participate on large cross group projects

  • Mentor less experienced staff

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area

  • Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Participate in less complex analysis and modeling initiatives, and identify opportunity for data reconciliation, and data modelling.

  • Review and analyze data models to extract data, and manipulate data to provide statistical and data modeling.

  • Design and implement database structures support of effective data sourcing strategies

  • Present recommendations for resolving data reconciliation, production, and database issues

  • Ability to develop operational reporting and perform complex data analysis

  • Develop customized reports, ad hoc analyses, or data visualizations to make recommendations for alternatives

  • Develop ad-hoc, Weekly, monthly/quarterly reports

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, managers, experienced managers, compliance, including various lines of business

  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives

  • Advanced proficiency in VBA, Microsoft BI and SQL

  • Experience with BI Tools such as Power BI & PBI Cloud and Tableau

  • Proficient in SAS, SQL, SSRS, BI Tools

  • Experience in in SAS EG, SAS/Base, SAS Macro and SQL.

  • Strong experience in creating dashboards and reporting using Power BI & PBI Cloud, Tableau.

  • Advanced VBA, Microsoft BI skills

  • Experience in Analytics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

  • Preferable to have experience in Doc Capture COE

  • Bachelor's Degree or above
